Documentary: The Commissioners Word

Guy was also keen on “Operation Live”. It rated well for the channel and held a large audience right up to midnight.

Jo Clinton-Davies (ITV) chose the ‘Real Full Monty’ which was a big hit for them. I wasn’t able to track down an on-line version of the clip. The clip started with the song  ‘This is me’ from the Greatest Showman. I think the Clip was part of a showreel that featured other shows.

Jo: it just shows, as we’re coming to a documentary session, our documentaries come in all shapes and sizes, including the Full Monty, and have a weight and a scope. They’ve all got factual content. It shows that documentaries are alive and well [at ITV] . They can go from the ultimate Access show to factual entertainment, to something that’s really Authentic. Enjoyable and just ‘Ballsy’.

Alisa (C4)

Alisa liked ‘Prison’, also the expanding Access in ’24 hours in custody’.  In terms of Singles, ‘Married to a peadophile’. That will be Alisas Clip, however I could not find it on-line. However there is an article on Radio Times:

Married To A Paedophile : Channel 4 Documentary : Lip Sync – Sinead Keenan

This program used lip sync actors and showed that C4 are willing to make big plays (probably means spend money).

Clare Sillery (BBC) .

Clare’s clip showed extracts of several shows. The only one I recall is the ‘Last Chance Lawyer NYC (Hat Trick International).  There is a small clip for this show on YouTube, however as it is not published by the BBC I will defer from linking that.
